Mirinda is a world-weary prostitute who used to be a Frenchman named Ben. She has been streetwalking the secluded streets of Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Her life revolves around tight-fisted punters, homemade botox injections, and the effort to survive the misery at the poverty-stricken edge of the city. However, Mirinda's life changes upon meeting a little girl who has obviously become a victim of the vast web of child prostitution. Convinced that family represents safety for the child, Mirinda decides to help her return to her fishing village. Yet during their journey to the country, they both realize that dealing with the past and escaping its shadow won't be easy. (Mezipatra Queer Film Festival)
