Smells and tastes, that's my favorite area of interest. However, smells and tastes played a major role only in the first half, then the movie ominously became quite a big psycho drama. Bernard Giraudeau perhaps only gets roles of arrogant and twisted manipulators, the character of Frédéric Delamont was not far from Leopold in "Rain on Hot Stones". The first half was excellent, the second was sometimes tedious, and in the end I was even glad it was over. ()
