Between bouts of wit with Ranger Smith, Yogi juggles a little romance with Cindy Bear. Because of her fondness for Yogi, Cindy finds herself the victim of an evil circus impresario. He has her performing dangerous feats on a high wire while his demented pooch looks on with mad laughter. It is up to Yogi and his sidekick Boo Boo to save her. (Columbia Pictures US)

In 1964, Yogi Bear and Bubu finally got their first feature film. And not just any film - it was a musical! So Cindy, the cute little bear, could come running in and the romance could begin. Yes, I love these Hanna-Barbera feature films. "Uh pick up a pole that has a hole." Similarly great are the Flintstones' feature film The Man Called Flintstone and the later Jetsons: The Movie and the latest Top Cat. ()
Yogi Bear will never be my favorite character, although I must admit that in animated form, it's definitely much better than in live-action. The good thing about this film is how the bears get to different places and that it works within the story. But it didn't knock me off my feet, and I didn't laugh too much. ()
Yeah, it’s just as Trellíno says, Yogi Bear was my childhood. A brilliant story with unforgettable songs. I wipe away a tear and remember. ()
