From today's perspective, The Hairy Bird can be viewed as the middle part of an unofficial trilogy about the different decades of adolescence in the USA, so aptly personified by Kirsten Dunst. In this film, we find ourselves in the early 1960s, in Mona Lisa Smile we are back in the 1950s, while Dick continued into the 1970s. Kirsten was always there for whatever came. ()
