Pandora's Box combines several interesting motifs. It's a femme fatale story intertwined with existential pondering on a woman's fate, a tragic romance, and a variation on the infamous Jack the Ripper theme. Adventure blends here with emotions, human cruelty, and violence. The film has a plot that may not be necessary, memorable characters - actually just one character - and in the end, a tone that shows the creators weren't afraid to take risks. ()
