The Irish production Cherry Tree is definitely impressive because it does not pull any punches and is quite hardcore. It may not be a typical trashy horror movie, although it does have that kind of depressing and oppressive atmosphere, which is accentuated by the fact that there are some disturbing kills. The unpleasant vibe gives you the feeling that something really nasty is about to happen. The ending is a little disappointing, even though the movie's flow is quite good. ()
