English The magnesium oxide killer longs to immortalize 21 grams, Doyle searches for a cure for a broken heart in the falsely tilled fields of spiritualism, and colleague Bell, visiting a brothel for work reasons, no longer even tries to actively dissuade him. The mysteriousness of the processes and results from the early days of photography, the flirtation with the supernatural, and the melancholic haze are nice, but once again, there’s the feeling that the television format could have handled the theme and characters in a more engaging way.
