A purely minimalist and quietly filmed movie with an emphasis not on dialog, but more on the mysterious and sometimes shocking atmosphere in a big family’s big back yard. The movie draws on the melancholic feeling it gets from being set in the 1970s. If set in the present, this wouldn’t have been enough, or it would have come across lacking somehow. So, nothing really of interest for demanding viewers, but there is some quality here that will certainly find a receptive audience. ()
