I liked the sound originality and the funny character of Polednice portrayed by Zuzana Bydžovská. However, that's where the positives end. Otherwise, it was simply a strange fairytale that I didn't like. I probably had too high expectations, but this simply disappointed me. The plot was very confusing and I was looking forward to the supernatural characters being utilized more. 2 stars. ()
Outlandish, with a couple of good moments. An attempt at reflecting modern problems is too stiff and the actors often unnecessarily make silly faces. The sounds of the rods are a marvelous idea, but Microsoft will surely sue them for it. :-D ()
I'm not saying I wasn't amused by the magic wand making Windows sounds or the magical Fish Eye with Jiří Lábus' voice, but otherwise this bizarre fairytale was rather dry and could easily be renamed to If There Were Jokes. The humor was only there in certain attempts at satire and in the various wacky actions of various characters; despite the label "fairytale comedy", we didn't see anything proper. It's not a total mess, and I can imagine watching the fairytale again sometime and laughing from start to finish, except that the laughter will probably be slightly insane. ()
