English The pilot episode... I know I don't want to see another episode, because I'm not tempted. Heck, Terra Nova mixes together Jurassic Park (I liked that it turned its idea inside out - inside a Mesozoic world, people are locked in an enclosure), Stargate, Avatar... But it's boring. Clichés lurk around every corner, and practically everything is "wannabe" - tough men, dramatic plots, humorous reliefs, suspense... Even the special effects aren't great. This really didn't go very well. ()

English After the first and probably the only season, a pure average, which (as it has been said in many reviews) rips off all sorts of series and movies, making it uninteresting and too clichéd in places, but on the other hand, what are creators supposed to invent nowadays. The best character was Taylor, played by Stephen Lang, who was perfect for his role. Plus, as a lover of Jurassic Park, I won't despise any of the otherworldly creatures, although here they were sometimes too CGI and artificial. A series that has its pros and cons, and leaves an average impression. ()

English It suffers from all the traditional problems afflicting American series, but it’s a good watch = the large budget is visible. The special effects are decent, very good in terms of story and mainly there is lots to investigate. I hope that we are treated to some flashbacks from the days of the first settlers. The greatest problem with this series are the characters and the actors. Stephen Lang is awesome, no dispute, but he towers so much above the others that you don’t give a damn about the main family, let alone the rest of the base. Also Allison Miller has grown on me, otherwise following the fates of the other jerks might become boring. We’ll see... So in the end it wasn’t so bad, a lot of unnecessary stuffing episodes, but the finale saves it overall. In fact, it’s fine whenever we get a glimpse of the future, even though it’s just a warehouse with a blue hole and nothing else. If Terra Nova gets a second series, fine... if not, I’m not going to cry about it. ()

English Jurassic Park? Avatar? Lost? Um? I envy those who found what they were looking for here. I just saw another unbearable, dime-a-dozen telenovela full of nonsense about banalities and about the real American family. This is all presented in CGI scenery, spiced up here and there by total guilty pleasure moments like Stephen “I’m so tough, I’m ridiculous" Lang vs. T-Rex which puts even scenes like Rambo vs. helicopter or Seagal’s pot belly vs. outnumbered a hundred to one. But at least I could watch the introductory double-episode to the end, unlike episode three. ()
