The Wild Duck is a classic drama by Henrik Ibsen from 1884. The Australian production cast their film with a star-studded lineup of Liv Ullmann and Jeremy Irons, with the rest taken care of by a good set design. It's not a particularly dazzling experience, but certainly a strengthening one for encountering Ibsen. Because as we know, theaters cannot constantly show all the classics, so in the meantime, a good film adaptation always comes in handy. ()
