Feeling confined by their small town and overbearing parents, Annie and Jules hatch a scheme of running away. The only issue is, they need the money to get there. Jules suggests the couple try webcam modeling. Although she's nervous at first, Annie can't argue when the money starts rolling in. But as the girls soon find out, consequences can blindside you. A nicely put together thing that’s also an interesting indie directorial début, and certainly promising for possible further films. Unfortunately, it follows a fairly predictable path and it doesn’t go anywhere particularly inventive. I would’ve pushed it further, either in terms of exploitation or of the moral consequences.

It's straightforward and it's good. It's not great, but there's a progression here that can give you quite the shivers. For example, how girls chat with someone online and then suddenly see that person in real life. A simple scene, but the effect is really excellent. You know something bad is coming. The bad stuff is then cut off pretty quickly, but it serves its purpose.
