The elite of political and business life of the country town gather to celebrate the namesday of László in the luxury villa. Everything begins just as usual, but now an incident disturbs the stag party: Bíró Andrea announces to his father, director of Iron Works that she will move away from home with her love. Bíró, who holds the hunting gun of Haudek, shoots the boy in his temper. Those present pretend that the quasi-murder was an accident. Péteri Luca, journalist of the local newspaper investigates the case despite obstacles and threats to murder, and she only gives it up when it becomes a real danger for her to be the next victim.
