I switched off after the 4th episode. It's so bland and unremarkable that I can't really find a reason to watch the series to the end, especially in the current crop when there are far more better things to watch. It is nice to see a running time of only 6x40 minutes, it makes the series easily digestible and certainly watchable without harm, the main character is likable, but the rest of it is in the waves of mediocrity. The action doesn't stand out, it's not very strong, the bad guys in the gang are boring and after a promising opening ten minutes I'm actually a bit disappointed. ()
Julien Leclercq and Sami Bouajila have teamed up again! I always enjoy gritty French detective stories; in recent years, I’ve preferred them over Hollywood, which has pretty much exhausted this genre! However, I was a bit worried about the serial format, as I’m not very familiar with French series in this respect. The first episode was promising, with an action-packed opening that was exactly what I expected. But as time went on, it became increasingly clear that the script wasn’t among the stronger aspects, which was disappointing. The acting was fine; everyone did a great job with their roles. The final episode improved the overall impression with its dramatic tone, which I enjoyed (aside from the rushed ending). I had hoped for a slightly better result, but it’s still watchable entertainment. 5.5/10. P.S. Why the digital blood? The sound effects of the weapons were decent along with the nice car chases, but those CGI splatters were a joke :D ()
