Anne Barnhoorn graduated from the Netherlands Film Academy in 2008 with the highly praised graduation film Urgence. In 2009, Anne's screenplay Alex in Amsterdam was developed and directed by Michiel ten Horn as a TV short. That same year she completed the short film screenplay Swimming Paradise. Anne cowrote two episodes of the highly acclaimed series Godforsaken: True Crimes and made her feature screenwriting debut with The Deflowering of Eva van End. Her second feature script, Someday You'll Laugh About it, is set for a 2013 release. Anne is now working on the screenplay for a remake of the Flemish film Hasta la Vista, and was in production on her second short film, Desperate.
