We all want to own a place of our own – where we can relax and feel safe. Nadia, a divorced translator, has found such an apartment for herself. It’s cosy and the location is perfect. But when she moves in, she finds out there is something wrong with the neighbour who lives in the apartment above. Soon conflicts arise, and all attempted solutions fail. This fiction debut by documentary filmmaker Zuzana Piussi is based on the true story of Ingrid Hrubaničová, author of the screenplay and the protagonist. (MFFK Febiofest)
