With this film, I realized what bothers me about some American westerns - everything is just too polished. Italian westerns are much better when it comes to this. And, thank God, also contemporary westerns. Rio Grande Patrol is a nice, shiny performance that didn't particularly impress me, but also didn’t bother me.
