The Director of Operations and Guest Services is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations for guest reception, guest services, ticketing, membership sales, and retail store, as well as the coordination and installation of museum exhibits. Prior museum operational and supervisory experience is required, including financial management and proactive strategic leadership. This position reports to the Museum Executive Director and will support the company’s goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values. Will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to our clients and visitors by developing effective customer service procedures, implementing customer loyalty programs, and setting customer satisfaction goals.
Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist will assist with the administration of organization-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives and federal and state legal requirements. The Generalist will also support the Human Resources department in all operational functions for San Diego Comic Convention(SDCC) and Comic-Con Museum (CCM).
Retail and Ticketing Associates are the primary team members to interface with museum guests. They welcome guests to the museum, work museum programs and event rentals, sell merchandise and tour tickets, and answer general inquiries about the museum and community services from the visiting public. Retail and Ticketing Associates assist with the daily operations of the museum, including opening and closing, guest relations, sales, customer service, and special events. Retail and Ticketing Associates work to achieve sales and create an exemplary guest experience while promoting the San Diego Comic-Con mission.
Under the supervision of the Director of Finance, the Senior Accountant II oversees the financial operations of the Comic-Con Museum (CCM). Responsibilities include month-end closing, financial reporting, compliance, and maintaining accurate financial documentation. The role involves analyzing Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), assisting in budget development, and coordinating with various departments. Adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and non-profit standards is essential. The position also includes handling cash deposits, sales tax reporting, and supporting accounts payable and receivable, while assisting with audits and staying updated on regulations to advance CCM’s mission.
