The Documentary Films sidebar presents most of the few fully German productions selected this year: Ulrike Ottinger's Under Snow (produced by Ulrike Ottinger Filmproduktion and ma.ja.de), Brigitte Kramer's documentary on Ottinger, Ulrike Ottinger - Die Nomadin vom See (filmsyndikat), and the strikingly modern, minimalistic and architectural Work Hard Play Hard by Carmen Losmann (HUPE Film- & Fernsehproduktion).
