I’d also love to know the answer to this.
Is this for the new Facebook Pixel, or is this the older “conversion pixel.” My understanding is that the new Facebook Pixel is a combination of “custom audience pixel” and “conversion pixel.”
If you want to insert the pixel code on a per-page basis, this plugin still works fine. Can you please watch the video on the main plugin page and paste your code in Facebook’s new format that looks like this? – http://jonloomer-nrwebdevelopment.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Facebook-Upgraded-Pixel-Base-Code.jpg
Just be sure you’re using your own pixel ID into the two highlighted areas in that image.
Otherwise, if you want to add site-wide pixels, I recommend checking out this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/pixelyoursite/
Sorry for the delay and best of luck!
In terms of standard events:
Here’s an example of how to insert the AddToCart standard event: http://jonloomer-nrwebdevelopment.netdna-ssl.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Facebook-Upgraded-Pixel-Structure.jpg
And the other standard events can be inserted in a similar manner, in this format:
fbq('track','NameOfStandardEventGoesHere');
