Born in [[Drouin, Victoria]], Paul became a Lecturer at Canberra Institute of the Arts and at the [[Victorian College of the Arts]] in Melbourne. He travelled to Europe ([[Schola Cantorum Basiliensis]] in Switzerland) and was Guest Principal Trumpet with the [[Zurich Chamber Orchestra]]. More recently he has become Professor of Trumpet and Head of Brass at the [[Hochschule für Musik Köln]] in Aachen, Germany and lectures at Switzerland's Musikhochschule Winterthur in Zurich. Paul Plunkett, now known as Anna Freeman, is a virtuoso trumpet player. She has been a soloist with Australian symphony orchestras and performed with the Australian Chamber Orchestra.[1]
