English: Vidkun Quisling (1887-1945), leader of the Norwegian Nazi Party Nasjonal Samling (NS) from 1933 and a collaborator during the German occupation of Norway during World War II (1940-1945), with party members at a private visit during NS's major national rally in Stavanger, Norway in July 1935. in the 1930s. Among the people in the photo are the propaganda leader Gulbrand Lunde (1901–1942), wearing a paramilitary brownshirt uniform and a sun cross-emblazoned armband, and his wife Marie Lunde (1907–1942).

Vidkun Quisling (1887–1945), leder for nazistpartiet Nasjonal Samling (NS) fra 1933 og samarbeidspolitiker under den tyske okkupasjonen av Norge under andre verdenskrig 1940-1945, med partifeller under NS' store riksstevne i Stavanger i juli 1935. Blant personene på bildet er propgandasjefen Gulbrand Lunde (1901–1942), i tyskinspirert paramilitær «brunskjorte»-uniform med solkors på armbindet, og kona hans Marie Lunde (1907–1942). Vidkun Quisling var norsk offiser, diplomat og politiker. Han ble først kjent som nødhjelpsarbeider i Sovjetunionen som medarbeider av Fridtjof Nansen, og var Norges forsvarsminister i to Bondepartiet-regjeringer 1931–1933. I 1933 stiftet Quisling det antidemokratiske fascistpartiet Nasjonal Samling (NS). Etter Tysklands invasjon av Norge i 1940 forsøkte Quisling, som den første i verden, å begå statskupp over radio, men kuppforsøket mislyktes ettersom tyskerne ikke var interessert i hans regjering. Vinteren 1942 kom han tilbake som sjef for en tyskstøttet regjering, og med tittelen ministerpresident ledet han sammen med den sivile administratoren for den tyske okkupasjonsmakten den norske statsadministrasjonen resten av krigen. Etter fredsslutningen i 1945 ble Quisling dømt til døden og henrettet for landssvik.
