English: The Hepworth Wakefield, near to Wakefield, Great Britain. Designed by award-winning British architect, David Chipperfield, The Hepworth Wakefield will show for the first time a unique collection of sculptures by Barbara Hepworth � one of the most important sculptors of the 20th Century, who was born and raised in Wakefield. Its bold, modern architecture will be a fitting home for an outstanding collection of British art, featuring work by some of the UK�s best-known artists. As one of the largest and finest galleries outside of London, The Hepworth Wakefield will bring international contemporary art and historical exhibitions to Yorkshire. Opening in 2011.
