English: Auburn University Chapel. Built in 1851. Used as a house of worship for the Presbyterian and Episcopal communities, a Civil War hospital, a civic center, a YMCA and YWCA headquarters, and a USO. In 1887, when the main building burned at Alabama Polytechnic Institute, the college used the Chapel for classrooms. Taken with my en:Pentax K1000 camera in 1982 and scanned with a CanoScan 8600F on 7/5/2007.
