Hello, J.P.Lon, and welcome to Wikipedia!
My name is Will, a.k.a. Willscrlt, one of the many editors here at Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions, and I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links you might find helpful:

Some other hints and tips:
- I see you have already learned how to customize your userpage; good work! If you haven't already, you might wish to tell us more about yourself in the new user log.
- Talk pages, such as yours, which you are viewing now, are the way that Wikipedians communicate and leave messages or feedback for one another. All information placed on a talk page is publicly viewable, permanently archived, and usable by anyone for any purpose. It is a very bad idea to publish secure information or anything you wish to keep private on a talk page, or anywhere else in Wikipedia, because of the openness of the system.
- When using talk pages, please sign your name at the end of your messages by typing four tildes (~~~~). This will automatically produce your username and the date.
If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question, ask me on my talk page, or type {{helpme}}
here on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Another option is to visit the Wikipedia Boot Camp or the Adopt-a-User center, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any questions you have.
I'm looking forward to seeing your future contributions, J.P.Lon!
I really appreciate what you did to improve the punch article. It's greatly improved now. If you haven't already done so, please consider joining the Mixed Drinks and/or Soft Drinks WikiProjects. We would love to have you as an active participant, working with the rest of us to improve other related articles. Thanks again!

2007 UK Letterbombs
Hi J.P.Lon, welcome to Wikipedia. I see that you have just created the article 2007 UK Letterbombs. Our naming conventions state that country names should be written in full. In the case of the UK, this is "United Kingdom". I therefore suggest moving the article to 2007 United Kingdom letter bombs. Can you agree with this? If you have any questions on how to do this, or on anything else, feel free to contact me on my user talk page. AecisBrievenbus 11:58, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Now moved to 2007 United Kingdom Letterbombs. J.P.Lon 13:38, 7 February 2007 (UTC)
Ally Pally
I have reverted your edit of the page today, which enlarged your panoramic view from the Palace (good picture by the way!). The reason for reerting it was that the thumbnail was better in the context of the article as a) you can see the whole image in the thumbnail, and b) people on slow connections are not forced to download a relatively large image file. I think leaving the thumbnail is better, as it does not overwhelm the surrounding article - seeWikipedia:Images#Image_choice_and_placement Wikipedia:Picture_tutorial#Resizing. If you disagree, it's probably better to try and get some consensus on the talk page first before placing the large image on the page. I notice you've undone my reversion already before I could finish this note. I will undo that, not out of spite, but purely because I didn't get the chance to tell you why before. Beer category decision
A discussion has been opened on changes that have been made to the existing Beer category system. The changes reverse the decision made by the Project in April 2006. The changes were based on agreement by only two people, and by a discussion that took place outside the Beer Project. There may be some merit in the changes, and to prevent future conflict it is important that there is some discussion of the matter. If you're interested, please see Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Beer#Brewery_cats. SilkTork *YES! 15:43, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
Your user boxes
May I have your permission to migrate the user boxes you have created or are hosting to the User:UBX account? I am trying to migrate the various food and drink user boxes over to a central location, rename them with easier names and categorize them. Thank you for your time. --Jeremy (blah blah) 18:12, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- Yes there will be a redirect, eventually I will have a bot migrate the instances of the templates the new location. But not right away. Thank you for your help. --Jeremy (blah blah) 09:43, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
Autopatrolled
Hello, this is just to let you know that I have granted you the "autopatrolled" permission. This won't affect your editing, it just automatically marks any page you create as patrolled, benefiting new page patrollers. Please remember:
- This permission does not give you any special status or authority
- Submission of inappropriate material may lead to its removal
- You may wish to display the {{Autopatrolled}} top icon and/or the {{User wikipedia/autopatrolled}} userbox on your user page
- If, for any reason, you decide you do not want the permission, let me know and I can remove it
- If you have any questions about the permission, don't hesitate to ask. Otherwise, happy editing!HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 22:03, 25 January 2011 (UTC)
