With regards to citation, the featured article criteria say use inline citations where appropriate. In such a large article, they are definitely appropriate; to assert a fact and say it is somewhere in a long list of references is insufficient. At the very least, they need to be sorted before this gets a chance at FA. I don't really want to go through all the prose if it's subject to change, but of course you are welcome to. I strongly recommend reading this which is excellent advice for writing a concise and readable article. Regards. Trebor 21:21, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So sorry!

I had you mistaken with another (previously unregistered) editor who was trying to pander the opposite, that their favourite character was alive and well. I would pretty much see the excessive "status" field and interpret it differently. As for the reference tags, I tried to put a bunch back in. Very, very, very sorry, ~ZytheTalk to me! 22:03, 7 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I do the best I can to be kind and try to help out everyone I can. I'm not currently up for admin, actually. I withdrew the nomination soon after I filed it. At the time I was very inexperienced, but I didn't realize that. I'm planning on going for admin sometime in late March though, and I should have a pretty good shot though those things are rarely a guarantee. I appreciate your feedback; as if something isn't broken it would be foolish to try to fix it. I'm also glad that you like my sig, and I just picked my user name because I think it sounds cool ;). Userpage vandalism

You're welcome! Always happy to fix that. Most trolls don't realize how they're shoveling sand against the tide: there are thousands of people who revert vandalism. Cheers, Antandrus (talk) 03:27, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, by the way, I like that "old school" RC patrol box. That's the way I do it. Not only is human intuition better than most of the tools (in my opinion--others' mileage may vary) but it's a good deal more fun to do it that way. Have fun! Antandrus (talk) 03:41, 27 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Warnings

Hello Irish Pearl. Thank you collaborating with countervandalism on Wikipedia. I must though ask you to please always remember to warn the vandals. Warning them will stop them sooner. You may wish to try VP, which makes the vandalism reversion process simpler and delivers automated warnings to vandals. Keep up the good work! Regards, Húsönd 02:56, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Will do, most of the time I try to (i'm not sure if you can see "talk pages" in contributions, but if you can you can check and see I try to, especially for IPs), with a link to the article in question (though not the actual vandalism, just the present article), but if the vandalism isn't incredibly serious or if I'm tired I sometimes forget. But I will try to do so more often in the future! IrishPearl 03:04, 28 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Autoblocked?

Apparantly, my school computer has been "autoblocked" due to persistant vandalism...which isn't too much of a problem I guess because most of the editing I do is on my home computer and not this one--though it is still annoying, especially since I just noticed I had a typo on my userpage, and I can't fix it. Plus, my pages on my watchlist are being vandalized too and I can't do anything about them until I get home. So, if someone could change the block to just anonymous users being blocked instead of all users (because looking at the vandalism done by anonymous users with this IP address, the anonymous IP users should definately be blocked) I'd really appriciate it.

However, if that's not possible, then I understand and will just only edit at my home computer instead, though I hope it can be done (I don't think a registered username has ever vandalized on this IP address, but then I really couldn't know if they did). So I'm doing what the "User is blocked" page told me to do for now.

{{unblock-auto|1=209.133.36.142|2=repeated vandalism for several days|3=Can't sleep, clown will eat me}}

I've changed the block to a softblock, so you ought to be able to edit now. Fut.Perf. 16:52, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

John input

I've noticed your participation on several John articles. Would you please give some input about two merges: John of Patmos and John the Evangelist. --Ephilei 03:45, 9 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Thank You!

You're very welcome. Glad I could help at reverting the vandalism. Thank you very much for the barnstar, I really appreciate it. Will (aka Wimt) 08:14, 12 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fixed translation, added citation, notes on Marylin Monroe talk page. Your version was the correct one. Wiggy! 08:11, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Thank You

I see the user is somewhat "attached" to vandal fighters, he seems to vandalize user pages of people who revert him. Just report him to AIV again if he continues after his block expires. If it is an static ip, we can file an WP:ABUSE report to have his ISP check him down (disrupting a site can be considered a breach of the terms of service of the ISP, canceling his account). Cheers! -- ReyBrujo 03:42, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You're Welcome

Thank you very much for your kind words. :)

Chad and Ryan

My bad! We've had so many people adding in junk like 'Maria and Karissa!' it's getting hard to sort out the signal to noise :P -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 22:05, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Category deletion discussion

Since you at least once used Category:People opposed to fan fiction, which was replaced by Category:Creators who do not acquiesce to fan fiction, and since the latter is now being considered for deletion (leaving no replacement category), you might want to comment to the deletion discussion. —SlamDiego 03:31, 26 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Much love

...to a fellow Sharpay and Ryan freak. (Not that I'm into incest with those two, but I'm glad to see someone else who isn't blatantly obsessed with Troy and Gabriella.) Also, I hereby name you treasurer of the "There Are No Frickin' New Characters In HSM2, Darn It" club. =p Zei-ness 03:40, 29 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Irish Pearl. I have seen the many parts of art that you collect. I think you might create your one gallery page. I created a gallery page too.--Angel David 02:01, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

May I ask you some help?

Hi Irish Pearl, I’d like to ask you some help for an article. But first a little of context: I wrote some articles to Wikipedia and probably one very interesting it is Ethereal beings. Intentionally it was conceived not only of historic text, it also integrates art information. In fact the paintings are so important as the text for the subject. By the way, more than half of its pictures were uploaded by myself and I am sure you will appreciate many of them. But those pictures as much are beautiful, their function it is more than that; as said, they also supply capital information about the article’s theme. Unfortunately some little time ago some users didn’t understand those concepts and they aggressively removed images, text, and severed sentences (making no sense) and even paragraphs were left with orphaned references, which others users and me mostly fixed (except the images, I left them out). I also have to say that I was writing that article one time per week or less by months, and many times I left short paragraphs for later developing them, but I never had really much available time and now it is almost impossible to continue that project (but still I think the article it is sensibly complete). And yeah, I am a painter out there, what explains that project (I think).

At last, my invitation: well I am not native from English language and that article may need some grammatical corrections. So, would be possible you give a quick look, make it right (if necessary) and remove the grammar tag (inserted after those mentioned events) if seems ok to you? I know it is a long article, so any help you can do it is welcome. Seem to me you like that theme, so I hope you have fun. All best, Hour of Angels (talk) 22:19, 31 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
