This King's Road is an old mailing route dating back to the 14th century starting from the Bergen on the Atlantic coast, passing through the Nordic capitals Oslo and Stockholm, crossing the sea through the archipelago to Turku in Finland and ending up in St.Petersburg, Russia.

The route is called Kuninkaantie in Finnish and Kungsvägen in Swedish.
