General elections will be held in Jersey on 19 October 2011, and for the first time Senators, Deputies and Constables will be elected on a single day in Jersey.[1]

Nominations

Nominations for candidates will take place on 6th September at the Town Hall, St Helier, Jersey for the four Senatorial seats and at each parish hall on the 7th September for the twelve Constable and twenty nine Deputy seats.[2]

Senatorial

In 2011 the number of Senatorial seats open will be reduced from six to four.[3]

For the first time since 1903 the position of Constable in the Parish of St Ouen will be contested following the decision of incumbent Ken Vibert to stand down. [7]
