Moussa Bamba (born 6 January 1985 in Abidjan[1]) is an Ivorian footballer who plays for Sannat Lions FC .

Club career

Bamba was playing for Jeunesse Club d'Abidjan in Ivory Coast Premier Soccer League when he was scouted by Sheffield United F.C. He signed a 3 year contract with Sheffield United F.C in 2006. Due to work permit problems in the United Kingdom, he was loaned to Chengdu Blades F.C.. Bamba was in the Chinese Premier Soccer League for 2 season,and went to Ferencvárosi TC in 2008/2009 season he was a regular player in the squad.[2]. He was signed from Chengdu Blades in 2008 alongside fellow Ivorians Dramane Kamate, Sékou Tidiane Souare and Kourouma Mohamed Lamine. Bamba moussa with other colleagues helped Ferencvárosi TC to gain promotion to Hungarian premireship in June 2009[3]; he was immediately offered a new contract by Ferencvárosi TC but he turned-down the offer due to the poor condition of the contract and some remuneration disputes from the preceding season. Attributes

Bamba is a player who can play either as a centre back or in a defensive midfield rate. He has a good Physique and is strong when attacking the ball either In the air or on the ground when competing with an Opponent. He is excellent of breaking up the Oppositions attacks and does a good job protecting The back 4.He is a good passer of the ball and likes To get forward into attacking positions from centre Back or from his midfield rate. He is a very good Professional,very dedicated and will always apply Himself,giving everything for the team.

International career

He was among the players that played for Côte d'Ivoire at the 2008 Summer Olympics pre-selection.

Personal life

Bamba married on 3rd November 2009 his Romanian girlfriend, he meet his wife while playing in Hungary, the couple lived in Bucharest. On Monday 7th December 2009,Bamba Moussa was granted an indefinate residence in Romania.
