Chief Superintendent Adam Okaro is a character in the ITV Drama The Bill.

Adam Okaro arrived in Sun Hill as a Superintendent after the suicide of his predecessor Superintendent Tom Chandler. Adam was a huge contrast to his predecessor — honourable, joining in some operations, and respected by most of his team. His world was almost turned upside down when his entire family died in a car crash. He was promoted to Chief Superintendent as Borough Commander, taking control over the Borough of Canley, being replaced by Superintendent John Heaton at his old post of station commander at Sun Hill. Adam is often making guest appearances at Sun Hill about Crime Figures. Adam is played by Cyril Nri.

Adam had a relationship with Gina Gold when they worked together in the 80's. Gina left Adam when she discovered that she was infertile and couldn't give him the family he wanted. Fifteen years later saw them reunited at Sun Hill Station when Adam was transferred as Superintendent. To begin with there was a little bit of bad blood and mis-understanding between them, but they developed a close bond and friendship and helped each other through some darker times at Sun Hill.
