Carlton Payne III
(1985-present)
Backround:
Born in Milford, Massachusetts, and moving to Blythewood South Carolina when he was eleven. Carlton grew up in a rural town. During his 11th grade year he started working on his first CD called “The Blu’ Book”, based off of his previous written poetry book called “Blu’ Book”. During his 12th grade year at Ridgeview High school Carlton started writing his next poetry book called the “The Read Book”. While getting ready to leave for Norfolk State University, Carlton completed his newest R&B CD called “The Prince of Payne: Volume 1. His freshmen year at Norfolk State University started with the composition of the “The Black Book”(unfinished) cancelled in 2005. After transferring to South Carolina State University, Carlton started focusing on his talent with music recording and beats, and on March 3rd 2007 Carlton released the single “You are my Fire”. During his Junior year at South Carolina State University, Carlton designed a speech pathology computer program, and a special version of cruise control.
Music Career
During 10th grade Carlton started playing and familiarizing himself with hip hop ejay 4. After focusing on just making beats for 5 months Carlton finally decided to see if he lyrics from his poems could match up. On December 3rd, 2003 Carlton released his first CD entitled “The Blu Book”. The Blu’ Book described the bottled up emotions and the humor that Carlton had held inside during his high school years. Through the CD only had 5 tracks and is very rare, and hard to be found in circulation. This CD included the incredible hit of “Fine Ass Girl”. Fine Ass Girl was known to the fans of Carlton Payne as the catchy song that I can’t get out of my head. On April 5th, 2004 “Fine Ass Girl” received partial radio play in San Francisco, California. The station is no longer operating. The Blu’ Book’s tracks included: 1. Fine Ass Girl 2. I’m Looking for a Girl 3. Personali “T” 4. When you are sick 5. I wish
In his Final year of high school Carlton, once again wanted to get some stuff off of his mind, and started working on “The Prince of Payne: Volume 1”. This time Carlton used past beats that he created with hip hop ejay, and his new modern up to date beats created with Sony Acid Pro. Carlton started recording this CD during April of 2004, and finalized in June of 2005. Although he put a lot of time and effort into his work, it was not able to beat the fan appreciation of “Fine Ass Girl”. Carlton’s exclusive CD was produced by his own record label Cp3izzle Productions. This new CD included 12 new tracks, one featuring Mandy Moore. Only six songs were actually written and performed on the CD, everything else was a complete free style. On June 17th 2005, “The Prince of Payne: Volume 1” was released. The song Eating part 1, was deemed “incredibly funny”. The Prince of Payne: Volume 1’s tracks included: 1. Oh 2. Biotch 3. Fantasy(written) 4. Walk with me home(featuring Mandy Moore and Cp3) 5. Babygirl 6. Silver and Platinum 7. Perfect Body(written) 8. Fine Ass Girl(extended version)(written) 9. Lean on Me(written) 10. Mascara(written) 11. Eating Part 1(written) 12. Eating Part 2

In January 2007 Carlton Payne began to program and develops using a basic java engine a speech pathology program that simulate the correct mouth movement of someone talking, and can also read out loud what you type. This developmental program is patented, and is copyrighted to Carlton Payne III.
Crusie Control X
In December of 2006 Carlton Payne began to develop and test a car that can read the white and yellow lines on the side of the road using sensors and that can also detect front or back collision. This project is currently in testing and has moved to phase 2 of testing as of August 28th, 2007. This is a developmental project and is patented and copyrighted to Carlton Payne III Today, Carlton is known for his homosexual practices, and his overall influence in gay culture in general. He is often said to be a "modern day Hitler" and believes that the systematic destruction of the female race is an important step for mankind. He is quoted as saying, "If the bitches didn't wanna die, they wouldn't be such pussies" which is often followed by a lol. Carlton's current source of income comes from his gay bar, which is actually where he pimps his male whores to minors and people with various handicaps.
Carlton is also known for being a chubby chaser. Carlton says, "Just like with those bitches, it's nice when men have more cushin for the pushin". Carlton actively supports overeating for cosmetic purposes, and swears that eating with boyfriends during lovemaking is a great excercise. SpectraLink Voice Priority (SVP) protocol
Bold text
SpectraLink Voice Priority (SVP) is an open,
straightforward QoS approach that has been adopted
by most leading vendors of WLAN APs. SVP favors
isochronous voice packets over asynchronous data
packets when contending for the wireless medium
and when transmitting packets onto the wired LAN.
The basis of the SVP approach is that random
backoff intervals and unprioritized queuing at the AP
can cause significant delays to voice traffic.
Modifying AP behavior to recognize and prioritize
voice packets increases the probability of better
performance while continuing to treat asynchronous
data packets normally.
SVP is fully compatible with the 802.11 and 802.11b
standards and is not intended to replace future QoS
mechanisms that may be ratified by the IEEE
committee. However, at this time, no generally
accepted standard for isochronous traffic
prioritization has been validated or accepted by the
market. In the absence of an agreed-upon or proven
standard, SpectraLink has developed SVP in order to
provide customers with a practical telephony solution
today. SpectraLink is committed to working with the
IEEE and other 802.11 vendors to deliver superior
voice quality over wireless LANs.
Implementing SVP on 802.11 APs
In 802.11 networks, packet delays of varying lengths
will occur due to the random backoff periods
required in the standard. As part of the MAC layer
implementation of carrier sense multiple
access/collision avoidance (CSMA/CA), random
backoff is required after every packet transmission.
The intent is to provide equal access to the media.
With voice devices, the resulting variable delays are
undesirable. The SVP approach specifies a backoff
value of zero for the AP whenever the next packet to
be transmitted is a voice packet. This
implementation is compatible with the 802.11
standard, as zero is a valid backoff number.

Parker v. Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corp.
A famous court case where Shirley MacLaine brought suit against Fox Film Corp. for breach of contract.
Contracts
Fox and Shirley MacLaine sign contract for $750,000 to make the film "Bloomer Girl" based on the famous musical by the same name. MacLaine would get rights to choose a film director, her dancing director, and rights to approve screenplay. Fox cancels the musical, which was to be about women's rights activist Amelia Bloomer.
Breach
Fox breaches the contract and offers part in a serious western movie "Big Country, Big Man" for same total salary, though without her control over the directors and scrrenplay. Certain terms differed in the two contracts - location, genre, musical, and others. Plaintiff rejected "Big Country" and sues over $750,000 and "damages" resulting from breach. Fox offers affirmative defense that "she unreasonably refused to accept its offer" for "Big Country".
Ruling
MacLaine is granted the full $750,000. Fox appeals on grounds that she had the requirement to mitigate damages, she unreasonably refused to accept offer, and damages shouldn't include her salary. Court holds that nothing says reasonableness is an element of option to reject, seek, fail to seek different or inferior employment. The role was inferior to her skills. The plaintiff has an affirmative duty to find other work, and should she find work she can't recover wages she might have made. Fox didn't raise this defense. The majority holds that contracts, thus the work, were not equivalent. Appeal denied.
Dissent
Dissenting judge writes that the contention is whether plaintiff acted reasonably in rejecting new offer. The rule mitigating damages is to preculde the recovery of damages that could have been avoided. There is an affirmative duty for the plaintiff to secure "equivalent" employment. Equivalent does not mean "not different or inferior" and that "Big Country" was equivalent. Dissent claims majority opinion will subvert mitigating rule above.
