Terry Fox Secondary In The News!

On May 22, 2007 two currently enrolled students of Terry Fox Secondary were charged with harrassment and assault after insulting and humiliating a student of neighbouring Arch Bishop Carney Regional Secondary School. The victom, Jeremiah Yang was heading back to school from lunch, when he was approached by two student of Terry Fox Secodndary. He was verbally assaulted and then absolutly humiliated when he was forced to take off his pants and underpants and walk back into school. The two mischeifs are currently awaiting a court hearing in June, and the victim, Jermiah Yang, is said to be recovering fine and when asked for comment on the situation he said, "I wish no harm on my neighbouring school mates, I am emotionally strong and have the will to carry on." -May 23, 2007
