Sir Michael le Fleming, 4th Bt. was born on 10 December 1748.1 He was the son of Sir William Fleming, 3rd Bt. and Elizabeth Petty.2 He married Lady Diana Howard, daughter of Thomas Howard, 14th Earl of Suffolk and Elizabeth Kingscote, on 23 November 1782.1 He died on 19 May 1806 at age 57.1
He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Fleming, of Rydal, co. Westmorland [E., 1705] on 31 March 1757.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Northumberland in 1770.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Westmorland between 1774 and 1806.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel between 1779 and 1806 in the Cumberland Militia.1
