Wesley Owen Welch is a major antagonist in the 2003 Marvel movie Daredevil. He is Kingpin's chief assistant and Fisk's security officer.
He was portrayed by Leland Orser.
Biography[]
Wesley informed his superior Kingpin that someone had spread the information about him on the newspapers. Wesley sat in the chair as Nikolas Natchios asked that Fisk buy him out so he would no longer have ties to Kingpin activities. Wesley was the one who summoned Bullseye to help Fisk get rid of Nikolas and his daughter Elektra to not allow Natchios reveal the fact that Fisk was Kingpin to the public. Near the finale of the movie after Matt aka Daredevil defeated Bullseye and heavily wounded the mercenary, Wesley offered Fisk to summon all of their security guards to protect Fisk from Daredevil, who would come to arrest him, but Fisk refused and told Wesley that he was born in Bronks and learned fighting from the very young age, snd so he didn't need protection. Wesley obeyed and followed Fisk's orders to allow all of their bodyguards and henchmen return home.
It's unknown what happened to Wesley after Matt defeated Fisk and had Kingpin finally imprisoned.
