Ricky was a criminal who made counterfeiting money by using Kryptonite in the WB/CW television show Smallville. He served as a minor antagonist in the Season Eight episode "Stiletto".
He was portrayed by Craig Stanghetta.
Biography[]
Ricky worked for mob boss Ron Milano at the Ace of Clubs as a counterfeiter who created money from Kryptonite. After a mugging with fellow thug A.J. went wrong, Bruno Mannheim returned to the club, sat at the bar and got a drink from new bartender Jimmy Olsen. Ricky then came to get Bruno, calling him "ugly", because Milano wanted to see him.
They went to the back room of the club where Ron was supervising the operation. Ron scolded Mannheim for his reckless behavior, stating they no longer did muggings and were going legit through their counterfeiting money. Bruno disagreed and turned on Ron, killing him with a silencer and took over the business. He declared he was going to take out the costumed heroes, starting with Stiletto because it was personal.
After finding pictures of Stiletto in Jimmy's camera, Bruno sent A.J. after Chloe Sullivan. Bruno then told Ricky to unlock Chloe's laptop in order to get more information about who she really was. Ricky managed to unlock the laptop and discovered files about the Justice League which Ricky and Bruno didn't know who they were.
Suddenly Clark Kent super-speeds into the room but slowed down due to the surrounding Kryptonite-laced money that weakened him. Bruno was able to see Clark, and punches him to the floor, where Clark noticed Jimmy unconscious in a corner.
Mannheim started beating Clark ruthlessly asking who he was while Ricky stood and watched. Ricky told Bruno to lay off because he was going to kill Clark. As Mannheim was about to finish Clark off with a gun, Stiletto jumped through the skylight and kicked Ricky, sending him flying across the room into a supply self knocking him unconscious. Ricky was arrested off-screen.
