Biography[]

Past[]

In the 1930s/40s Eric was part of a supervillain team called the Brotherhood of Evil however the brotherhood expelled Morden, and Monsieur Mallah, a super-intelligent gorilla who spoke French, took his place. After that, his girlfriend Millie broke up with him and told him he would always be a Nobody.

Morden traveled to Paraguay in 1948 to consult with Nazi scientist Heinrich Von Fuchs, who was notorious for his "theoretical experiments" on humans. Von Fuchs received a sizable payment from Morden in exchange for putting him through those tests.

Von Fuchs urged Morden to repeat "the mind is the limit" continuously while he exposed the subject to an unidentified energy source as they carried out the experiment in a chamber. Up until Niles Caulder showed up and detonated Morden's apparatus, snatching the Longevity talisman, the entire experiment was successful. Morden's physique changed as a result, and he developed destructive abilities.

Later, he would torture the "Doom Patrol," a team of superheroes, driving them insane and locking them up.

Kidnapping Niles Caulder andTorturing the Doom Patrol[]

Mr. Nobody visited Cloverton, Ohio torment Niles Caulder some time later, in 2019. He opened a doorway to the White Space there, and it engulfed a significant portion of the road. When Niles asked Nobody who he was speaking to, Nobody responded that he was speaking with the fans. Niles was surprised that Nobody still believed that he was in control of the story, to which Mr. Nobody responded that he had escaped his hands for the final time, carrying him and Niles to White Space.

Nobody then trapped the Doom Patrol in the White Space and tortured them with their past memories however they where eventually freed by the negative spirit. Nobody proceed to continuously torture the Doom Patrol while they searched for Niles such as letting a rat loose in Cliff's body and causing chaos amongst the group. Mr. Nobody temporarily teamed up with the Doom Patrol to stop the Decreator from killing everyone because he wanted the story to go on. Nobody later offered Niles a chance to get out of the White Space and reunite with his friends if he answered a question about his daughter but Niles refused. Nobody also caused Victor to become paranoid about his father and creat fake messages of him saying horrible things which caused Cyborg to shoot and injure his father. He also discussed himself as a patient in an old folks home and talked to Rita about her problems.

When Rita went, Mr. Nobody changed back into his old self and declared that Rita was prepared to battle and that she had noticed that some of this episode was still missing. Nobody noticed how the Doom Patrol was getting ready to meet him in the grand conflict between good and evil at this point, therefore Vic's picture was taken down from his Doom Patrol poster. He was thrilled since it would finally be what everyone had been waiting to witness from the beginning of the entire series, after 13 arduous episodes. Nobody then torched his poster and demanded that the Doom Patrol come get the Chief.

Exposing Niles Caulder[]

Before their mishaps occurred, Nobody had each member of the Doom Patrol teleport to White Space. They would continue to live in peace there and would never run into Niles Caulder. However, the Doom Patrol declined Nobody's offer and fled. At the actual White Space, Rita arrived and snatched the narration from Nobody, infuriating him. Along with coming, Cliff and Larry located the Chief. Nobody was prepared to confront them and wasn't impressed that they had made it thus far. They witnessed Doctor Harrison do a demonstration and discuss Nobody's issues. They learned that Nobody committed all of the crimes as a result of his ex-girlfriend leaving him. Nobody became irate, proclaiming that he is above everyone else and equal to no one. Vic then showed up and obliterated Nobody. Niles and the Doom Patrol made their way back home, but Mr. Nobody had planned this in advance. It is assumed that after their defeat, a year passed and the Doom Patrol faced the Brotherhood of Evil as heroes. However, this is all untrue because Nobody repeatedly deployed his robot to kill the Doom Patrol while Niles was present.

The Vic who arrived at the White Space was Mr. Nobody, and the Vic who came at the Manor was the real Vic, as the Doom Patrol would later learn. They found him, dispelled the illusion, and revealed that they had never left White Space, which made Mr. Nobody happy. He claimed that they would never be able to overcome him, but that Niles must reveal the truth because there is something that can. As the truth emerged, Niles admitted that he was the one who was responsible for all of their mishaps, much to Mr. Nobody's delight.

Aftermath[]

He rejoiced in the White Space after winning. After some time, he became bored, encountered Ezekiel, and realized he could once more exact revenge on the Chief by using Danny, who was hiding his daughter. They made the decision to form the Brotherhood of Dangerous Animals and enlist the Admiral Whiskers. They went to Horst Eissman and stole a magical picture that had the capacity to engulf a whole city, but Nobody lost control, and Ezekiel and Whiskers grew large and overran the city, terrifying Nobody.

The Doom Patrol witnessed him run away from Ezekiel and enter the Perpetual Cabaret, but nobody else reacted. They went after him. Niles' abomination daughter turned the two treacherous plagues into giants, and nobody had beers on the depressing shelf and chatted with the Doom Patrol about everything that had occurred. Additionally, he described how he apprehended Danny, how Nobody infuriated Niles, and how Vic devised a strategy with the team to free Niles' daughter from the painting. Rita had to persuade Nobody to help with a portion of the plan.

Nobody was venting to Rita about how a rat and a cockroach got him kicked out of a bad organization. No one was upset as a result. Rita admitted that both of them are failures. Despite falling short, his narrative is not over despite his failure. He agreed to rejoin the story after Rita persuaded him to do so. Nobody was moved by what she said. Mr. Nobody interrupted Ezekiel's singing to resume his story, persuaded Ezekiel that he was God, that he could endure anything, and that the time had come for him to destroy the world. Then Ezekiel devoured Vic.

Larry informed Nobody that Cliff was gone after Ezekiel devoured Niles, Jane, Rita, and Dorothy. Nobody then used his narration powers to make Ezekiel and whiskers fall in love and kiss.. Nobody warned them that the conclusion of this epic drama was near when Ezekiel and Larry set off the bomb. Ernest ran after Nobody and enquired as to how the Doom Patrol would endure within Ezekiel. Before Mr. Nobody could react, the explosion arrived, indicating that they were unable to leave or take action. Nobody and Ernest were trapped within the painting following the blast.

In season 2 it is revealed that Mr. Nobody was able to escape the painting by getting a gig on another show.

Trivia[]

  • Beardhunter saying Mr. Nobody got a gig on another show is a reference to Joker from the Harley Quinn tv series who is also voiced by Alan Tudyk.
