Jorgen Von Strangle is the overarching protagonist of Nickelodeon's The Fairly OddParents franchise.
He is the most powerful fairy in all of the universe, the ruler of Fairy World, and the supreme leader of all fairies who enforces "Da Rules". He is also the older cousin of Cosmo.
He was voiced by Daran Norris in The Fairly OddParents, who also voices Cosmo and his anti-fairy counterpart in the same franchise, and portrayed by Mark Gibbon in A Fairly Odd Summer.
Appearance[]
Jorgen appears as a large muscular humanoid fairy, even towering over all of the adult humans in the series. He has a tanned complexion, a flattop haircut, greyish blue eyes, and a massive chin.
His outfit consists of camouflaged pants, black boots, and a green tank top. Unlike all other fairies, Jorgen has no wings, due to deeming them too "girly". Instead, on some occasions, he uses a jetpack.
In the sequel series A New Wish, he has grown a short beard. He wears a green shirt with the sleeves torn off and a sleeveless sweater. He wears camo shorts and socks and sandals
Background[]
Jorgen is an antihero, but can occasionally become an antagonist, which he has illustrated by unleashing evil laughs on various occasions. He can be a bully most of the time, he will beat up Binky and, literally, sit on Cosmo and Wanda, crushing them in the process, and showing signs of relief (indicating comfort and flatulence). He even became the main villain in the action-filled world in the episode Action Packed, where he seems to care even more about his muscles and how he looks, putting them above other people's lives. Even though he is already the strongest fairy in the world, he wants even more power, even if it means killing other fairies to get it.
When Timmy's shortage with his godparents was low, Jorgen forced Timmy to share his fairies with his newly neighbor Chloe Carmichael.
