Count Dracula, also known as The Dark One, is the overarching antagonist of the Syfy series Van Helsing, which was inspired on the Helsing graphic novel series. The Count was a centuries-old vampire lord and the ruler of his namesake palace in Transylvania, who possessed his descendant Olivia Von Dracula. He is also the archenemy of the vampire hunter Abraham Van Helsing, who imprisoned him in the Dark Realm for centuries, until he was accidentally released by Abraham's descendants Vanessa, Jackie, and Violet in the 21st century.
While possessing Countess Olivia, Dracula was portrayed by Tricia Helfer, who also played Goddess in Lucifer, Espheni Queen in Falling Skies, Carla Baxter in Burn Notice, Sarah Kerrigan in Starcraft, Boodikka in Green Lantern: First Flight, Izzy Rogers in Criminal Minds, Aphrodite in Scooby-Doo: Mystery Incorporated, Agent Jackson in Key and Peele and Kilian Qatar in Command & Conquer 3: Tiberian Wars.
Biography[]
Dracula was originally the count of Transylvania and ruler of the vampire species. He had three vampire "Brides"; Bathory, Willem, and Michaela. Centuries ago, Dracula was imprisoned by Abraham Van Helsing in the Dark Realm along with him.
In the 21st century, Dracula was released by Bathory using the fourth Elder and Abrahams's descendants; Vanessa, Jackie, and Violet.
Later, Dracula eventually kills the U.S. president and takes over the White House, with plans to destroy what remains of the human society.

- Vampirism: Dracula was the most powerful vampire on the Van Helsing universe. In addition to his physical benefits and attributes, Dracula also possess several magical abilities.
- Immortality: As a vampire, Dracula has an infinite lifespan and has the potential to live forever.
- Transformation: Dracula can change his physical appearance at will. He has the ability to transform himself into a mist cloud.
- Superhuman Strength: Dracula possesses great levels of strength, allowing him to easily slaughter ordinary vampires.
- Superhuman Speed: Dracula can move at great speeds. When he runs, he appears as a blur. His reflexes are also equally sharp.
- Superhuman Durability: Dracula is highly resistant to physical damage. Normal bullets, blades weapons and even bombs cannot scratch him.
- Accelerated Healing: Dracula has the ability to heal himself from the wounds or diseases of others or themselves.
- Claws: Dracula had shown he could extend his fingernails to knife like sharpness, sharp enough to slit a person's throat.
- Dark Magic: Dracula has great knowledge about dark and forbidden magic, and proved to be a very powerful magic user, as shown when he shroud all of Transylvania in shadow using a spell.
- Telekinesis: Dracula is capable of manipulating the movement of people and objects with his mind.
- Possession: As Dracula does not have a physical body, he needs a pure host to be able to possess and use it, while also manifesting his supernatural powers through it.
- Portal creation: Dracula can create portals to other dimensions like Hell.
- Disintegration: Dracula is capable of using his power to completely disintegrate other vampires, like the Elder Sam.
