No, Robin. It is you who has been defeated. I have captured the king. Your pawns cannot save you. You have lost.

~ Brain gloating at Robin after successfully capturing him.
The Brain is the main antagonist of Season 5 of the 2003 animated series Teen Titans. He is the leader of the Brotherhood of Evil, a criminal organization determined to achieve world domination, and the archenemy of Beast Boy and the Doom Patrol.
He first appeared in the 2-part episode "Homecoming" Part 1 and Part 2. After Brain and his gang were defeated for the first time, he gathered several familiar villains for his army.
In the episode "Calling All Titans!", the Brain sent out his army of villains to capture the heroes.
In the final battle in the episode "Titans Together", after the Brain finds out that his army was being defeated by the heroes, he activates his body for a final self-destruct, while he and Mallah attempt to escape. All that was left was the head, that Mallah carried. The Herald sent his body to another dimension, which it exploded. In the end, he was frozen along with his gang and the other frozen villains, to which Beast Boy made a joke and said, "Brain-freeze!", annoying his teammates and allies.
Powers and Abilities[]
The Brain possesses a genius-level intellect, considerable analytical and calculative skills, and is an expert in many strategic and scientific disciplines. Additionally, he has a control system built into his jar that is directly linked to his brain and allows him to operate numerous gadgets remotely. As seen in the image, the "eyes" of the Brain's skull light up while commanding equipment, and the Brain's brain jar sometimes bubbles.
The Brain cannot participate in physical battle for obvious reasons. In order to defend himself and carry out his goals, he nearly totally relies on his subordinates (especially Monsieur Mallah), while he himself provides strategic guidance and information.
His inability to move makes him helpless to prevent whatever is upending his goals, which is a clear vulnerability. Beast Boy was tinkering with the generator controls directly next to him, as seen in "Homecoming - Part 2," yet despite being so near, the Brain was unable to stop him. He is seen twisting his "body" and moving slowly in "Homecoming - Part 1," which is most likely due to wheels at the bottom. The Brain could be able to move but choose not to do so because he is powerless to defend himself.
