Zusammenfassung
Eine neue Entwicklung des Fraunhofer-Institutes IFF ist der Roboter Sirius C zur automatischen Reinigung von Hochhäusern. Der Roboter ist an unterschiedlichsten Fassaden einsetzbar und benötigt keine gebäudeseitigen Vorrichtungen wie Führungen an der Fassade. Dennoch ist er auch bei Windstärken arbeitsfähig, die eine manuelle Reinigung aus sicherheitstechnischen Gründen verbieten. Das Roboterkonzept umfasst alle erforderlichen Komponenten für den praktischen Einsatz über die Roboterkinematik und die Reinigungstechnik hinaus. Das Steuerungs- und Sensorkonzept umfasst die Erkennung der Fassadenstruktur und selbständige Generierung der Roboteraktionen. Der Roboter Sirius C basiert auf der Roboterplattform Sirius, die als Trägerplattform für Werkzeuge an für Menschen schwer zugänglichen Objekten vom Fraunhofer IFF entwickelt wurde. Es handelt sich dabei um eine, Sliding-Module-Kinematik‘, die eine Weiterentwicklung des Sliding-Frame-Prinzips darstellt.
