This kimono was inspired by two of my favorite Japanese motifs: koi fish and sakura branches. The design evokes the image of koi fish swimming in a river beneath the blooming cherry blossoms. The contrasting colors of the obi belt represent flowing water. The pattern is charted with written instructions for assembly.
