Mumbai metro

It was wonderful traveling on the Metro 7 which runs between Dahisar East to Andheri East (Gundavali). It was a smooth ride, clean interiors, well spread concourse (station layout), designed as per international standards. It is certainly a boon to the city of Mumbai and a great way to travel in the western suburbs.

Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority is also set to open the first few metro lines. These stations are designed by architecture practice Studio Archohm. Mumbai metro stations have been designed with a variety of crucial details in mind, from vertical louvers that give a monolithic appearance to the actual frames that provide much-needed rain and sun protection.
