Back in 2014, as my first job in the film industry, I was fortunate to participate in early pre-production for Kong: Skull Island film, collaborating with director Jordan Vogt-Roberts and Art Director Stefan Dechant.

It has been in my mind for way too long, to make one decent fan art for the mighty Kong! :D And I happened to win the Concept Art Award in the Fan Art category with this one! The MonsterVerse King Kong (キングコング Kingu Kongu?) is a giant ape daikaiju created by Legendary Pictures that first appeared in the 2017 MonsterVerse film Kong: Skull Island. He will also appear in the 2020 film Godzilla vs. Kong, where he will have his long-awaited rematch with Godzilla.
