Chevrolet Corvette tire wear on edges
Uneven tire wear can be seen on a Chevrolet Corvette. One of our automotive technicians recommended a wheel alignment, because the tire edges are wearing prematurely. Aside from the tires wearing, you may notice the steering wheel is uncentered or that the vehicle is pulling to one side when you need a tire alignment. Car alignments can be thrown off by speed bumps, suspension wear, potholes and other factors.
Jeep Wrangler wheel alignment
A Jeep Wrangler was in for a wheel alignment Tuesday afternoon. The front caster needed to be adjusted. In addition to checking the caster, we make sure the camber and toe are within the correct parameters. When performing tire alignments, our technicians also confirm that parts aren’t bent or broken. They measure the ride height, too.
Acura steering wheel off center
Bad suspension parts can impact a vehicle’s alignment. An Acura had an off center steering wheel that was caused by a bent control arm. Other types of suspension wear – such as tie rod ends, pittman arms, and ball joints – may also lead to a bad wheel alignment. Car alignments can be thrown off by certain road conditions, as well. These include potholes, construction sites, curbs, speed bumps and curbs. You might need a tire alignment if the tires are wearing unevenly, the steering wheel is crooked, or your vehicle is pulling to one side.
Bad wheel alignment on Honda Pilot
A Honda Pilot has a bad wheel alignment. When an alignment check was performed, we noticed that the toe was out of specification. Our technicians also check the caster and camber during a tire alignment. They look for broken and worn suspension parts, as well. Uneven tire wear, a car pulling to one side, and a crooked steering wheel are signs that a car alignment is needed.
Bad wheel alignment on Lexus
When we talk about uneven tire wear being a sign that a wheel alignment is needed, this is what we mean. Both of the front tires of a Lexus RX 350 are worn on the edges. This was caused by a bad tire alignment. Car alignments can be thrown off by various factors – potholes, suspension wear, roads that are under construction, and curbs. Getting a wheel alignment checked once a year, when new tires are installed, and after suspension work can help prevent premature tire wear.
Chrysler 300 wheel alignment
We are performing a wheel alignment on a Chrysler 300 after installing new tires. Tire alignments are also suggested yearly and after a vehicle receives suspension repairs. In addition to preventing uneven tire wear, this maintenance can help improve fuel economy and gives our technicians a chance to check the steering capability.

Wheel alignment on Mazda
We offer various tire services, including tire rotations and wheel alignments. Recommended each year, car alignments help prevent premature tire wear. On Tuesday, we performed a tire alignment on a Mazda. Last year, a repair had been performed on the vehicle at another shop. However, they didn’t do an alignment. Since then, the driver has noticed tire wear. It’s also a good idea to have this service completed when new tires are installed or a vehicle receives suspension work.
