Golf Balls are accessories that are used in golf and can be purchased from the Golfer for 1 each. Golf Balls come in a variety of colors.

They can be used to place golf balls in the world. They can be used either by right-clicking a Golf Tee, starting a swing with a Golf Club in front of a Golf Tee or simply right-clicking the air while it is selected to drop/throw the ball. If a player doesn't have a golf ball equipped or in their inventory, right-clicking on a golf tee will create a plain white ball.

Golf Balls that have been placed are projectiles that can be hit with a Golf Club and despawn when entering a Golf Cup.

Tips[]

Golf Balls do not need to be placed in the accessory slot; simply carrying it around in the inventory will allow the player to place golf balls.
Because placed golf balls are considered projectiles, they can trigger teal pressure pads.
Golf Balls can be placed in the world an unlimited number of times and do not need to be picked up, so there is often little reason to buy more than one.
The player's camera follows the golf ball when it is struck and if the player does not move after hitting it. This can be used to locate Floating Islands and other hidden structures.
You can hit multiple golf balls with one swing, and thus potentially make multiple holes-in-one even into the same hole.
- Doing this will make the camera follow one of the golf balls and the rest will not be followed.

Notes[]

Because the Golf Ball is considered an accessory, it can be reforged at the Goblin Tinkerer.
You can score outside world borders using TEdit to place a Golf Cup outside the world.
If you hit a Golf Ball up past the upper world boundary, it will stay up there and it will not come down. The arrow indicating where your Golf Ball is will also point up there.
