Akiko Miura (三浦 アキコ Miura Akiko?) is a character exclusive to Tekken: Bloodline where she acts as the secretary of Heihachi Mishima in the Mishima Zaibatsu.

Biography[]

Personality[]

Akiko is a sensible, business-minded individual, who is unafraid to speak her mind to her employer, Heihachi Mishima. Heihachi seems to value her input, deferring to her judgement in some matters and taking her opinion on board. She is aware of the Mishima's history and discreet when dealing with it, advising Jin to be likewise. She is tasked both with overseeing personal affairs concerning the Mishima Clan, and business affairs, such as research into Ogre and contacting Doctor Bosconovitch.

Story[]

Akiko is first introduced as Heihachi Mishima's secretary shortly before the beginning of Jin's formal training. She believes that adding flame designs to Jin's gi pants would be too flashy and arrogant. In response, Heihachi states that being a Mishima requires a great deal of pride and personal identity, though he agrees to withhold the flame design until Jin earns the right to use it himself.

Akiko and Ganryu watched several of Jin's training classes where he is regularly beaten to his very limit but continues to get up each time. Just before Jin finishes his upper body training, Akiko passes a file over to Heihachi which includes several fighters from second King of Iron Fist Tournament that went missing after the appearance of Ogre. Following the announcement of the third King of Iron Fist Tournament, Akiko warns Jin not to advertise his relationship with Heihachi as it would indirectly reveal his lineage with Kazuya Mishima, the previous head of the Mishima Zaibatsu, who was despised and the target of several assassination attempts in the previous tournament.

Whilst Heihachi is planning to use Jin as the perfect bait for Ogre, Akiko asks her employer if he is confident in Jin's victory. Heihachi replies that he cares little if Jin wins his fight or not as they need only to drag Ogre out. Akiko does not feature again significantly after this.
