In A Plague Tale Requiem, you have just escaped what's left of your homeland. You must now decide how to move on and rebuild your life, as well as Hugo's life. As you travel you come across cities that sparkle and shine in the sunlight, but still, something dark follows you that will inevitably reawaken. Hugo, the brother of the main character Amica, is cursed, and when those powers return, a revolting and horrific plague of rats devours the land beneath your feet. You are now forced to run, yet again, to find shelter and a new home.
There is a light at the end of this emotional and heartwrenching tale, as there are prophecies of an island that may hold something that can save Hugo from this curse. Using your arsenal of tools, weapons, and powers, you will need to fight every second to survive. Choices will need to be made, and lives will be lost.
