Your Gravatar wallet allows you to store payment links and cryptocurrency addresses that are visible on your profile, and allow friends to easily access them.
It should be noted that Gravatar is not connected to any of these services, does not have access to any of your details, and is not involved in payments.
The following payment services are supported:
- PayPal
- Patreon
- Venmo
The following cryptocurrencies are supported:
- Bitcoin (BTC)
- Litecoin (LTC)
- Dogecoin (DOGE)
- Ethereum (ETH)
- XRP
- Cardano (ADA)
You can also define your own custom currencies.
Show wallet on public profile
You can show your wallet details on your profile by enabling the ‘show wallet on public profile’ toggle.
Your wallet details will always appear through the Gravatar API.
If you have one or more item in your wallet a new ‘send money’ button will appear on your profile:
When clicked this will show your details:
Since a lot of these details are long sequences of random characters it may be convenient to show them on your Gravatar profile.
Managing your wallet
You can manage your payment and cryptocurrency details from the Wallet page:
Click a provider or currency to edit your details.
Depending on what you then select you will either need to enter a URL to your payment service:
Or your cryptocurrency address:
Custom payment
You can add a link to a custom payment provider by pressing the ‘Add custom payment’ button on the wallet page. Your custom payment provider can contain a name and a URL.
Custom currency
As with adding a custom payment provider you can add a custom currency by clicking the ‘add custom currency’ button on the wallet page. You can then supply a currency name and code:
