You can add links to any website to your profile. Unlike Verified Accounts these are not verified in anyway, and are just links that are meaningful to you.
You can add links from the Links section of the profile editor.
Show links on public profile
You can show your links on your public profile by enabling the ‘show links on public profile’ toggle.
This will affect both the profile page on Gravatar as well as the Gravatar hovercard. Links will still be available via the Gravatar API.
Show images with links
When enabled, this option will show an image alongside the link. You can supply your own image when editing the link, or a snapshot will be taken of the current site.
Adding and editing a link
A link contains the following required components:
- Link title
- Link URL
You can also optionally include:
- A description about the website
- A image for the website. This is only available if you enable link images, as described above
Press the ‘add link’ button to add a new link:
Once a link has been added you can select it in the list and update or remove the link.
Adding a custom link image
If link images are enabled then, by default, links will show a snapshot of the website. You can also supply your own image by clicking the ‘upload image’ button:
You will be prompted to upload an image and it will then be used instead of the snapshot.
Reordering links
You can change the link order by clicking the vertical ellipsis icon next to the ‘Your links’ list and then selecting the ‘Reorder links’ option.
This will switch the editor into ordering mode and you can move the links using the drag handles to the left of each title:
You should see your links updated in the preview area. When finished press the save button.
