Custom Domains

Gravatar allows you to customize your profile URL by changing your username. But that’s not the only way!

How to claim your domain

When you login into your account you must see a disclaimer offering you a custom .link domain.

The custom domain is a .link domain and is based on your username, but don’t worry you will be able to customize it further after clicking the “Claim domain” link.

ℹ️ At the moment, we are only offering .link domains but more to come soon.

Pricing

Currently Gravatar is offering the domain free for the first year. You must get more details during the process after clicking the “Claim domain” link.

Managing your domain

After you get your domain setup, you can click on “Change” in your profile and then “Manage domain” button to manage it.

You will be taken to WordPress.com’s domain management page. Where you will be able to change the domain contact information, disable renewal and disable or transfer your domain elsewhere.
